Anyone think Stevie Me was fucking useless? He really made up for Lampard's absence by turning in an abject performance to mirror Fwank's.Fucking useless, no. Average by his standards, yes. Recalled striker Emile Heskey believes he should keep his place in the England team after two impressive performances in their Euro 2008 qualifying campaign. Heskey, 29, played for England for the first time in three years in the 3-0 victories over Israel and Russia. He linked up well with Michael Owen, but Wayne Rooney is expected to be fit again to face Estonia in October. Heskey told BBC's Football Focus: "It's difficult, but I feel I've done enough to deserve to start the next game." He added: "You have got to look at the team and the squad that coach Steve McClaren picks and you must pick the right team to play the opposition.  | I did what I had to do against Russia, but there's a lot more to come from me |

"To be honest, I think there is still a lot more to come from me," said the former Leicester, Liverpool and Birmingham striker. "I did what I had to do against Russia, I would probably give myself a seven out of 10 for my performance. "I know I have got more than than. But for that game it was ideal that I played in that way." |

| | I wouldn't play Rooney at all. he's not that good. When Rooney got injured i was speaking to a red, who actually said "right, now Rooney's out of the way, we might do something". Can't stand him and he's a red. |
