| Don't know but it must have been bad. Sounds like a bad collision.
74:29 Substitution
Hull substitution: Caleb Folan replaced by Michael Bridges (serious injury).
74:29 Substitution
Blackpool substitution: Kaspars Gorkss replaced by Stephen Crainey (serious injury).

| Must have been. One of the strecther men was supporting his neck which was in a neck brace. Doesn't sound good.

| Yep. Ive just read it on the Hull website. I wonder how serious it is. It was Folan's debut aswell, record signing from Wigan. Has a history with City. Knocked us out the cup with Chesterfield with a top free kick and knocked a header in against us for Wigan last season in a relegation battle game.

| I watched the match, great game of footy too and was gonna post elsewhere about the sort of effort you get from league football players.
Anyways, the clash was a sickener, the other player was bleeding from cut around eye and he was taken off also but the fella you spoke of wasnt moving, at all. 10 mins to make it safe for him to move. He was best player on pitch by a mile too.
I think it was the 9th min of overtime Blackpool won it.

| This is all it says on the BBC. Now if it was a Premiership player I bet there would be more. | Ashbee was on hand to equalise | Ben Burgess gave Blackpool victory over Hull with an stoppage-time goal but the win was overshadowed by an injury to Hull's £1m-signing Caleb Folan. Folan, who joined from Wigan, was taken to hospital after he was stretchered off wearing a neck brace following a collision with Kaspars Gorkss. Blackpool took the lead through Gary Taylor-Fletcher six-yard poke before Ian Ashbee equalised with a volley. Burgess grabbed the winner when he headed home Keigan Parker's cross. Hull boss Phil Brown on Folan's injury: "It was very worrying. "He appeared to be unconscious for a couple of minutes but he was talking as they led him out of the ground on a stretcher." |

| It didnt appear that he was bleeding but Kaspar was.
Kaspar and Folan had been putting niggling tackles on each other throughout the match but I think* this one was 50/50 header.
Folan looked excellent, big guy, great touch, opened up everything for them. I didnt know much about him prior to this game. In fact I would have forgotten* his name had he not have had this injury.
* 5 pints deep by then
