According to Sibs he could be, but then again he's French and probably doesn't want us to do well .  It just defies logic to say that a player has redicovered his form because the pressure has been taken off him now he only plays in front of a handful of people at Wigan and then suggest that he could cope with the pressure of playing for England.  I presume he has seen the way England players and managers get treated by the media?

Titus Bramble is a new man at Wigan after having a massive weight lifted from his shoulders - 52,000 Geordies.

Bramble goes back to Newcastle today a different person on and off the pitch, in the opinion of team-mate Antoine Sibierski, who makes the same sentimental return.

The 25-year-old calamity prone centre-half is more at home in his new surroundings, away from the demands and expectations that proved too much for him.

Sibierski explained: "At Newcastle, Titus played in front of 52,000 fans and it is different here.

"Maybe he has got less pressure. Titus looks a different player. I have told him he could play for England - he has done very, very well in the last few games.

"I am not surprised about that because I saw him at Newcastle in training and he is a quality player.

"But he was not the same during games. Now he is doing very well and I would not be surprised if he got into the England squad.

"He is the same guy but on the pitch he looks more confident. I want him to carry on in this way.

"Maybe it is the way he is being coached. Maybe he has got more confidence from the staff at Wigan than he got at Newcastle."

Bramble couldn't get into the partially sighted England team, let alone anything else

I think Bramble would fit into the England squad really well.  He's shit, and they are shit. (Apart from Micah)
