So was it intentional? I'm struggling with the idea that a professional would do that to another (with obvious exceptions like Keane)...i just don't think Hunt meant to do it at all. He makes a genuine challenge. Imagine how bad he must be feeling for cracking another mans skull. For people like Drogba to come out and say it was on purpose is very un-professional

I've seen this twice now & can't make my mind up.  I don't think it was intentional, but I'm not sure Hunt made enough of an effort to get out of the way when he realised he wasn't going to get the ball.

Maureen & the rest of them have behaved despicably imho & should have a disrepute charge brought against them.

Imagine what Mourinho would have said if it was a Chelsea player colliding with an opposing goalkeeper and the same thing happened.

Have a look for yourself;

No I cant make my mind up, there is not a striker alive who wouldnt atleast pressure a GK as he picks up a ball like this, its their job. You can see he clearly puts a knee low in the hope to dislodge ball from his hands/elbow etc but the way it unfurls he catches his head. Nasty, nasty clash.

accident IMO -

he tried to pull out and couldn't  - I fell sorry for cech but once again Mourinho manages to turn sympathy in to apathy with his constant whinging

Interesting how the referee's first instinct was to have a word with Hunt, rather than summon help for Cech. Twat!

It was an accident. If Hunt wanted to hurt the keeper he would have went in with his studs. He was more likely to injure his knee with that challenge.
