I hope he plays center back. Good experience. He will learn from every game he plays against top quality opposition, and that can only benefit city. Fingers crossed he does come through okay.

Yes, all right.. Christ Almighty! It's like walking down a corridor and answering the door in Nazi Germany!

Ditto. Truly couldn't give a toss. Not because I am not actually English, up to WC02 I followed them with gusto but because they really dont play attractive football and it's obvious they have no intention of changing this with the hiring of Maclaren.

Me too!

The Prem is vastly overrated for what it is. Too much money IMO. However, Bayern seem hellbent on ruining the Bundesliga by snapping up all the best players from the rival teams.

Has the team been anounced yet?

Did you hear Terry yesterday when he was asked about Micah Richards performances at center back this season? He said "I think he's a right back". Looks like he's worried about his place. I know it was only said in jest, but he must be looking at Micah and thinking... if he keeps playing like that, me or Rio are gonna be pushed out.
If Micah is one of the 2 best center back in the country, I hope he gets to play there, and isn't pushed out to right back just cuz he can play there, to accommodate Terry and Ferdinand. You know, like they do with Gerrard on the right wing just to accommodate Lampard.
