Former Everton striker Duncan Ferguson is ready to leave the UK to start a new career in Western Australia with Perth Glory. (Daily Mirror)

It's a bit of a joke if he gets this. australia is one of the hardest countries in the world to emigrate to and this guy's got a criminal record (yes, I am aware that they used to be compulsory)

Cmon Glory! My home club. The authorities do have a tendency of swaying whichever way they like.

What criminal record does he have?

What criminal record does he have?

In 1995 he served 44 days in Barlinnie Prison after headbutting an opponent while playing for Glasgow Rangers in 1994.

He became the first professional footballer to be jailed for an offence on the field.

Thats pretty stupid and needless. He is the kind of player fans love playing for your club though, a la Danny Tiatto, Pail Dickov, (formerly) Danny Mills, etc
