£9m for Craig Gordon from Hearts.

£6m for Kieron Richardson from the Scum

£5m for Michael Chopra from Cardiff

£3m for Greg Halford from Reading

Niall, you are a legend, but how on earth can you talk about other clubs spending silly money when you look at that list.

Tsk sir, your image has forever been tainted in my mind.

He may have been a terrific player at City and loved by the fans but if you asked him which of the 3 clubs he felt the most love for I reckon it'd be Sunderland (even though he played more games for us). And I dont like Sunderland. At all.

So let him spend away.

If you read his autobiography, the reason why City doesn't top that list is the shoddy way he was treated by successive Chairmen.  He never got paid his signing on fees for any of the contracts he had with us.  City didn't have a pot to piss in, was the term I think he used.

And the book also explains the origins of the disco pants phenomenon.

I did not know that. I will have to ask some other 60 seconds the origin of his disco pants phenomenon.

Craig Gordan is quality, trust me on this one, but whether he's worth £9m to Sunderland is another matter.

Personally, much as I detest Keane, there's other clubs I'd sooner see go down this season. Birmingham are currently top of my list for some reason.

Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced.

Did you check with BB first to see if you were allowed to call him a Legend?

Plus, he was having a pop at Arry at Pompy at the time, so I think he is allowed to say what he likes to be honest !!

I think you may find that BB is in agreement with me on the legend status bestowed to Mr Quinn.

Yes. Indeed. Quinny definitely deserves legend status.
