| | Stuart Pearce has admitted he is worried that one of the top Premiership teams will swoop to sign his England Under-21 defender Micah Richards. (The Times) Hopefully he'll look at what happened to SWP and will think twice if any 'big' clubs come after him. Read somewhere else that he already has a £10mill price tag.

| The problem will be if his agent gets a call saying "we'll double his money" and then there's nothing City can do to keep him. A player who wants away will make sure he gets his wish these days I'm afraid.
I think £12 mill is the current highest rumour btw.
Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

| Knew it was around £10mill. I suppose if you have a young player who keeps improving and playing well then it's inevitable that other clubs will want them. I just hope we can get a few more seasons out of him. Good as he is, he isn't the finished product yet and when he is he'll probably be worth +£15mill.

| | I reckon this is a cryptic way of saying "I don't decide our transfers, the board does, and I'm helpless to stop them selling him from under my nose". If the board sells Richards, Pearce may quit I reckon. |

| | i think richards is superb but at the moment he is the only way to raise 7 mill + , we've got a couple of really decent attacking full backs so we could really survive without Micah so we Must sell other wise we will go down cos the players we have at the moment couldn't hit a barn door and beleive me i'm getting those relegation butterflies. We've got nobody to replace the jokers up front (sinclair vassell samaras corradi oh my god!) |
