Arsenal new boy Eduardo da Silva, who signed from Dynamo Zagreb in July, has had his request for a work permit turned down by the Home Office. (The Sun)

BTW I hope City don't get any such problems. But signing players from outside the EU is a risk and you would think that clubs would check out any potential non-EU signings first.

1. It is Dinamo Zagreb not Dynamo Zagreb
2. They singed Eduardo because he is a class, and he will be in top-10 players in Premiership.

Form is temporary, class is permanent

That's how it's spelt in English.  But will use Dinamo in future seeing as this forum is becoming rapidly international and multicultural.  Thanks NKDZ!

Not if he doesn't get a work permit, he won't

Though I suspect Arsenal are a big enough club to get the decision overturned.
