Yup. It's not really a book you enjoy but it is one that stays with you. I'd reccomend it to anyone but I would never try to explain the book. I reckon everyone sees it a little bit differently and that's the way it ought to be. That said I'd be amazed if anyone could read it without being disturbed at some level.

anybody read my booky wook?

Going back a bit now, but does he mean Russell Brand?

I liked it and I like him.

Reading East Of Eden at the moment.

"Nobody likes my shoes! I made... I made fifty... fucking vol-au-vents, and not one of you... not one of you... said "Thank you." And my favourite: "Everybody, shut up. Shut up! This song is all about me."

You and I have similar tastes Emigre, just about to start The Road by Cormac...you read that? Let me know what you think of The Crossing.

And by the way: No Country FOM was a magic read, as was Stalin' Ghost.

No.

I rarely read novels at the moment, only text books about WW1 & 2 for the next few months, got about 7 of them for Christmas

Loving 'The Crossing' so far. Got 'No Country for Old Men' sitting on the shelf ready to be read next.
