save me Jeebus (13/09/2007)

I could do that. I'd have loads of help of you and Labmonkey wouldn't I? And my brother. He has a chemistry degree. He was an industrial chemist till he gave it up and went back to university to do optometry. He's now an optician.

Well who'd have thought it?

I've forgotten most of the chemistry I knew now.  Come to think of it, I've forgotten most of the biology too

AH! no, he could have been still at uni. I was pointing out that he'd qualified. So... to you.

Yes, all right.. Christ Almighty! It's like walking down a corridor and answering the door in Nazi Germany!

Not at all.  I'm a well-respected member of the academic community now, don't you know?  OK, maybe not well respected.  Not respected at all even.  In fact, I'm pretty much unknown...

Anybody know a good online Library? Like this one. http://www.readprint.com/

Most I've found aren't very good. They only have abridged versions of books. The link I've just put up there ^ is a good one, but I want more. Please sir, can I have some more? More? MORE?!?!

Fraid not matey. I don't like reading on screen, much rather the printed form. That site has made me just order Wealth of Nations though. Adam Smith pwns.

That looks like a meaty read, Benny.I'd needthe big print version. With pictures.

I'm actually becoming more and more interested in Economics. Contemplating an OU degree...

Thats been on my "things to do before I die" list for a few years. Not economics. Dont know what it would be. I'd quite like to do something like... em? a science maybe? Astronomy and planetary science? something along those lines.

I did astronomy as my physics option at A-level, as I've always been kind of interested. Most boring subject ever. I do remember what a parsec is though. It's proper dull mind.

I dont know whether to behappy that you stopped me from making a mistake or sad that you've burst my bubble.

Do chemistry. Chemistry rocks.

LM's a biologist, but I'm sure has a good working knowledge of chemistry. Chemistry involves blowing things up, which is just always fun.

nice to see chemist round here. im a chemist too and yes chemistry rocks!!!

Then they'll all know who I am.  Oh yes, when my face is posted up on billboards on every street and they have to pray to me three times a day and bring me offerings of beer, cake and Skittles.

All hail Labmonkey.  Queen of the world, and hospitals (I missed the boat on that one-still saving it for a rainy day).
