Rapidly approaching the same sort of place Cloudy  - if we don't qualify then SGE Mk2 will get the push, Lampard and Carrick will never wear the shirt again and we won't put in such a shambolic performance again

It was appalling.  Even worse than under Erikkson.  I can't see McLaren staying if we don't qualify.  There are some difficult sides in the group, but it's not like we have to play Germany or Italy.  Croatia are decent, Russia and Israel will be testing.  The way the team is playing at the moment though, i can't see us winning a match.

I think its about time all those/the press who said that this was Englands "golden generation" of players admitted that they were wrong. These players are just not good enough. In the early days they would always make excuses for their poor performances, like age and inexperience, but now there can be no more excuses, they're just not good enough, never have been, never will be. Even I blamed our poor world cup on the manager, but I guess it was the players that just weren't up to it, simple as that.

Yes, all right.. Christ Almighty! It's like walking down a corridor and answering the door in Nazi Germany!
