| | It was appalling. Even worse than under Erikkson. I can't see McLaren staying if we don't qualify. There are some difficult sides in the group, but it's not like we have to play Germany or Italy. Croatia are decent, Russia and Israel will be testing. The way the team is playing at the moment though, i can't see us winning a match. |

| I think its about time all those/the press who said that this was Englands "golden generation" of players admitted that they were wrong. These players are just not good enough. In the early days they would always make excuses for their poor performances, like age and inexperience, but now there can be no more excuses, they're just not good enough, never have been, never will be. Even I blamed our poor world cup on the manager, but I guess it was the players that just weren't up to it, simple as that.
