Another sickening whinge from the most pampered and disgustingly overpaid profession in the world (although this is according to the Daily Star, so you never know...)

Michael Ballack says he can't afford a house in London, despite earning more than £6million a year at Chelsea.

The Germany skipper has moaned about property prices in the capital, despite the fact he's paid a whopping £130,000 a week by the Premiership champions.

Ballack moved to Stamford Bridge from Bayern Munich on the summer on a lucrative Bosman free transfer.

But according to The Daily Star, he's told a German newspaper that his huge income still doesn't enable him to get his dream house.

He's believed to have initially set his heart on a six-bedroom home with a pool, either in the capital or near Chelsea's training ground in Cobham, Surrey.

But after being told it would cost him a cool £4million, he settled for renting instead.

He said: "London is extremely expensive. It's better to rent. My family and I have found a house in Wimbledon."

Ballack also complained about the number of speed cameras on British roads.

But he added: "Luckily I have found out where they all are near me."

Keeper of the heretic's fork of doom.

So surely what he has said is tantamount to admitting to speeding?

Although I am sure his £130k a week would enable him to hire "Mr Loophole" as his solicitor and he would get away with it

Not really, don't they post where all the speed camera's are on a website?

Would be funny if they posted one, but then put a hidden one 500 yards further up the road, for all those slow down, then speed up again type people

you can get files to load into satnavs with the locations of all speed cameras so it alerts when approaching them, fully legal, but fricking annoying beeping at you all over the place in certain areas.

Speed camera detection technology and speed trap radar detectors are not illegal in the UK yet but the government are working on it. Tom Tom offer one year free speed camera detection when you buy a Go 300 or above.

In France if you are caught with either you can be deported.

It wouldn't be all bad. Free passage out of France is a pretty good deal I would say

Years ago when I worked for Panasonic, one of the Technics reps was on his way back through France to the ferry. A copper at a toll booth spotted he had a radar detector, riped it out of his car and stamped on it. He got a £1000 fine and had to go to the French Embassey in London to sort all the shit out.
