| | West Brom banked a record £11.3m yesterday towards a renewed bid to get back into the Premier League with the double sale of Diomansy Kamara and Jason Koumas. I know Kamara scored 20 odd goals in the Championship, and Koumas is a semi decent midfielder, but over £11m for the pair - crazy money. |

| | Both gone to Premiership clubs - clubs who have more money than at any time in the past. Wonder if West Brom will now buy players from other English clubs, ensure the extra money drips through the leagues, or if they'll just shop abroad for some cheap shit?

I completely agree kamara was absolute garbage at Pompey at couple of years back. Koumas has also proven he cant hack it at the top level and has a very questionable attitude, he was out on loan / on the bench for much of his time at west brom.
It just shows how crazy prices have gone in the UK. Then again we are paying £9 million for an unproven italian with who has only had one decent season in his career......seems just as bad as those deals to be honest, maybe worse becuase the amount of money involved. |
