| | Paddy and I were fortunate enough to be at the agm of of the London supporters club. All good and fun, and plenty of opinion about the takeover. And then this bloke says-"I'd like to hear David's opinion on this", and lo and behold David Bernstein is sitting there. The official meeting didn't minute David's chat, and therefore I don't think I can post what he said. But, both Paddy and I said we changed out minds about wanting to sell-for me it's probably the first time I have heard a truly informed opinion (and DB definitely knows what he's talking about). It was also clear how much DB loves city, and it certainly made me think about what position we'd be in if he were still in charge. When it comes to it, and there's no choice, he will sell his shares, and I do not think I am breaking any sort of trust by saying that he won't sell his shares till he has to. His speech (and it wasn't prepared, he was just talking from the heart) made me completely change my mind about this-before I was all for the sale, and getting the money, but this was the first time I heard anyone talk about the details, really knew how it worked, and he brought up so many things that were bad practice. I know it's shit, I can pretty much remember all he said, but with respect to DB I won't type it. He did also point out that he had had sky and the BBC calling him every day for a quote. Suffice it to say that initially the supporters club said they weren't going to sell, and Paddy and I were annoyed and thought they were crazy, but after DB's talk, I say hold on to your shares. I'll happily talk about what DB said, but don't want to formalise it if he didn't.

| | one thing that was made clear to us was that the value that we are being sold short as a club. which isnt right. what was also said and minuted that the london branch of the osc not going to sell its shares. we have a lot of unnammed shares, which are emotional bonds to the club, no matter what the price. one thing \DB said was, was that its very close to being too late. once this takeover happens the club is no longer in our hands. i have shares. i will not selll until i'm forced. i urge everybody to think long and hard about this, yesterday i wanted to rush it through, today i have been convinced other wise by somebody who is a shareholder, a former chair man and a fan. he also is the man whom i have wanted back in the hot seat since his departure. red shirt though. sorry db.
