| Barca Azul (09/10/2006) I would rather keep him and show that we have some ambition !!Yes i'd rather keep him, but 15mil would be a very attractive offer for such a young inexperienced player.

| £15m isn't attractive enough for me. Matters not a jot what other clubs sell their players for. We do our own thing.
I wouldn't be letting SP spend all the cash either. I'd be using almost all of it to pay off more of the debt.
Sometimes I wish that I could stop you from talking when I hear the silly things that you say |

| | Then Benítez will set about beating Arsène Wenger and Jose Mourinho to Micah Richards as, like football fans across the land, all three agree the 18-year-old is too good for Manchester City. From the Gaurdian - cheeky bastards

From the Gaurdian - cheeky bastards Fooking wankers, what kind of shit journalism is that?? Here's more from the rumour mill. I just hope the bit about £10m is well wide of the mark - letting him go for that much would not be doing their utmost to keep hold of him IMO. Manchester City have promised their fans they will continue to fend off interest in 18-year-old defender Micah Richards from the host of teams that have been linked with him.
Chelsi, Liverpool and Arsenal have all been sniffing around the youngster, while Spurs, Aston Villa and Newcastle are also believed to be contemplating a swoop.
Richards has caught Liverpool's eye as a right-back, while Chelski apparently see him as a long-term partner for John Terry in the middle of defence.
Citeh reportedly turned down a bid of £5m from Spurs in the summer, but would be tempted by bids closer to £10m.

Chelski? Citeh? I'm not sure the fuckwit who actually wrote that piece of crap is qualified to write his own name, let alone tell us what may or may not be going on behind closed doors at football clubs.
