From the OS News round up

Three months to the next transfer window, and the rumour-mill is already beginning to whir into motion.

The People

"Big three to Micah move for City kid"

Manchester City’s teenage star is a January target for Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Birmingham-born Richards, already rated at £10million, has become the top flight’s hottest defensive property and the 18-year-old has been monitored by the leading Premiership trio since he burst onto the scene with an FA Cup goal against Aston Villa in February.

Despite committing his immediate future to City with an improved contract, Richards knows the Premiership’s biggest clubs are tracking his every step – and are willing to offer him a huge pay rise to tempt him away from Eastlands.

Bound to happen, he's a young, awesome, talent.

I hope;

- Micah stays wants to stay blue and City hold on to him, or

- City wait til we jack the price up to 20+mill before we sell him. Watch Chelsea put out to graze another young thoroughbred.

A few months to go before we start to sweat again.I'm sure the approaches will come for Richards plus a few others. If we tell them to take a jump it will show the intention and ambition of the board. If not........

It will be really interesting to see what happens. I would like to see him comand the midfield with Joey (Nedum at right back) and then worry about January later.

It will be a test of the board's resistance!! He is awesome and I hope we do everything to keep him!!

No way should we be selling him for less than £20m. He's under contract. He's doesn't have to go anywhere til we say so. I would take £20m though...

I'd take 15m. 20m is a lot to ask for a player with 1/2 a season under his belt when Carrick was overpriced at 18m. I'd rather we didn't sell though.

It's a nice place to be in with the quality coming through from the academy, lets just not do what West Ham did a few years ago though.

As much as i would say we've got to keep him and i would expect the club to say that he is not going anywhere i think in reality i would be satisfied if we got £15m for him.

But ONLY if we were to give that money to Pearce to spend on a quality left midfielder (Riera would do for me) and whatever else SP see's fit to spend the money on

Are you on drugs? Riera wasn't very good. He very often flattered to deceive, he good turn a player inside out, but that wouldn't matter becaus ethe fella would catch up with him again. the same as kiki, too slow for this league.

McSheffrey went to brum for 2m or summat.
