A full 90 minutes and a clean sheet for Micah. Here's what Sky Sports had to say on his perormance

On what was one of several rampages upfield, the powerful Micah Richards flicked a header wide when well placed before the bucannering defender miskicked in front of goal, when inadvertently put through, courtesy of David Nugent's deflected shot.

Good on the lad. He will be playing for full England squad within 2 years.

Absolute dynamo.

Absolute shoo-in for the 2010 world cup.

He lodges with my mums colleague...still not in his own house, nice to see that despite his instant success he is still in digs, should keep him grounded.

Also, my dad used to work with Nedum's mum...she has told us that anytime we want to go in the players lounge after a match we can

A clean sheet is something good for the goalkeeper and his defence, if not the whole team, no?

And for Squid's mum's colleague, too, by the sound of it

Before Walcott scored his goals Micah hurt himself clearing off the line, he was as much responsible for the result as Walcott, not that I'm biased or anything.  He seemed to get a good kicking but he came back on and 'ran it off'.

Even the beeb noticed "

"In the second half Gomez went close with a flicked header from a corner, while Micah Richards made a miraculous goal-line clearance. "

If at first you don't succeed pull your foreskin over your heed.

Glad to see that Walcott scored as well.
....the lad has pace to burn, scary that he's still only 17, if he stays clear of injury he is going to be a star......and to think Steve Wigley tried to get him to come to City.....
