| Im just reading about Pearce preparing the team for the U21 semis.. i was thinking. How would you feel if England went on to win the tournament? If Pearce led them to victory. Would you be happy for him, or feel a bit sick after we sacked him. Sure it's a bobbins tournament. But it's be a good achievement none the less. And the press would prob hail him and jump on city for letting him go.

| Also happy for him. The fact that it's with an England team containing Ned helps, of course.

| Apparantly Ned's been 'a rock' in defence against Holland. Alas some more strange SP tactics (taking off a striker and bringing on Anton Ferdinand) with a few minutes left and a 1-0 lead lost. Hopefully they might still get through in extra time or pens, but it does seem to be business as usual with SP. (Mind, I'm listening on the radio not watching so feel free to tell me I'm wrong and SP is a tactical genius.)

| | Stop shouting Sir Joey. We're right here. They look like good prospects for the future though. Young for Villa will be amazing from what I've seen. £9m well spent on him I think.

| | What an absoloute bastard, Hope Nedums alright though, probably a good job we didnt make the final though we would have had about 6 players out, Steven Taylor was anabsoloute hero then again they all were. Whats the rule with penalties now days? is the keeper allowed to be nearer the half way line than his goal??? |
