€33 to watch the game too!!! But then again I don't get to go to that many games really.
Eintracht only qualified, as Bayern defeated them in the Cup final, but were in the CL anyway.

| Great result in the end. Was seen to be the most difficult tie for any of the German clubs competing in the UEFA Cup, but Eintracht ended up with the most impressive result.
4-0!!!
Eintracht were aided by playing against 9 men with half an hour to go, when awarded a penalty (red card for handling the ball), plus another Brondby player thinking it a good idea to nut an Eintracht player as well. The referee was none other than Robert Styles, who to put it most accurately was woeful. At least one other Brondby player should have walked and that was before the first penalty incident (2 were awarded to Eintracht). Not even a card shown to the player who knobbled Armanatidis (I think that's right), and will perhaps now be out some time due to injury. But following that incident he showed a yellow card to an Eintracht player for questioning his judgement.
Well, at least all they have to do is now keep Brondby quiet and the money spinning group stage awaits. No one really expects them to go any further after that.

| | Good stuff Frank, hope you get a result mate. Afraid I'm a Nurnberg fan meself, who, in case you didnt know, are enjoying a superb start to 06/07 season. It wont last, if I'm honest but its nice to be top of Bundesliga for a spell.

| What a result yesterday!!
They fell 1-0 behind at home to Leverkusen and then turned it around to win 3-1!!!
Not too many expected a win over Leverkusen, even fllowing Thursday's impressive win, especially as so many players are missing. Just a shame I didn't get to see it.

| Eintracht ground out another draw today, albeit away from home. 1-1 at VfB Stuttgart, with the equaliser in the 88th minute. Good going so far in the league.
But Bayern at the top already, which looks onimous.
