| The Cult were one, but then I saw them last Friday. They were great. Catch them if you can.

| Cardigans forever (05/10/2006)
You never hear anything about them anymore, but were fuckin great: Comsat Angels Ride Salad Loop Tindersticks Warm Jets Curve Drugstore Railway children Electrafixion (one album only, but was fookin great) Gin Blossoms Heartthrobs (I loved these, early 90's indie band - featuring the sister of Pete de Freitas) Andy Bell of Ride is now playing bass for Oasis. Pete De Freitas? You don't mean Phil the Cricketer do you? Are you sure Tindersticks aren't still around? They always used to be on Mark and Lards evening show back in the day, but I'm sure I've seen them still touring recently!

No Pete de Freitas, who died on his motorbike, who was in Echo & The Bunnymen. |

Mr Badger (05/10/2006) Gun, who then became G.U.N. Quite liked them.
Weren't they the ones that did that Cameo cover?
Yes, they did 'Word Up'
you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

Probably why you don't hear much about them then. Add Kenickie and 10 Benson to that list.
