| Just wanted to get a snapshot of what other people have done here, if anything.
I spent a lot my 20's and early, early 30's as human litmus paper test for all kinds.
Why I curb it? It was the legthening of the downtime post-fun, cost of such fun, and because it is not condusive with achieving anything in work or life.
This is a sketchy subject and if people dont wanna post, thats cool.

| I've never tried anything. When I was a youth there was very little around, apart from a bit of weed and that was hard to get hold of. I don't feel as if I've missed out, though.

| No you havent missed anything Buff, sometimes wish I'd kept away from the lot but no point in regrets. I do also have some fantastic memories and lot of superb nights to take from it.

| | I dabbled at uni (as do a lot of people) but I don't think the 'high' is justified by the cost, both to wallet and potentially to body. I am however loaded up to the eyeballs on ibuprofen today to try and calm a fever down.
you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

| | You seem to have partaken in moderation, Dan and that's a lot different to ending up a wreck due to to drugs. I'm glad there wasn't a lot available as I'd have definitely given it a go, cos everything's worth trying when you're a kid. Nothing moderate about it at the time, was ridiculous. I had an unbelievable determination to try everything, and then I found what I liked and rinsed it.
You are right though, I had the sense to pull out in time and knew if I was over my head. Others, clearly havent been so lucky.

| | When I was younger and poorer I worked out that if I drank I could not afford to do much else. Given I had already decided I quite liked drinking...it wasn't a difficult decision and I remain drug (and tobacco) free. Lucky I didn't have more cash when I was 17.... |

| Never done owt hard, dabbled with the odd pill, and shed loads of weed when younger, not so much now. I seem to have an ability to chuck a whitey even by just looking at a bag of skunk.
