Totally agree with what's being said here. It makes me shudder when I think of all the lives that have been lost in meaningless wars and terrorist acts carried out in the name of religion. The sooner society starts moving away from organised religion, the better, but unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen any time soon as long as George and Tony are toting their weapons and bleating on about God.

All religions are as bad as one another in one way or another.  It gives people a wonderful opportunity to be hypocritical, and feel better than others.  At the same time, ram down peoples throats a load of old tosh, that nobody can prove existed anyway.

How about Buddhism then.It is a way of living rather than a set of morals to live too, everyone stands and falls by their own actions in my understanding.

Well, if that's what you say, then i'll go along with it.  personally, there is too little time on this planet to start worrying about death, religion and all that cobblers.  make the most of the good things while your here.

I guess a lot of people say that,me included, but if a bus was thundering down Yorkshire St towards you and you were pissed falling in the road the last thing you would say or think might well be ''Jesus''
