I think texting has ended the age of romance as well. Gone are they days when someone would actually have to phone you or ask you face to face for a date, people will now just nonchalantly fire off a text. And first dates aren't waht they used to be - there used to be a time when you'd look forward to getting to know someone on a first date. These days people have texted that much in between being asked out and actually going out that they pretty much already know that person, and I have known instances where dates have been cancelled as a result of not liking the person so much after all (of course, you can really get to know someone's personality and character by text). Bring back old-school dating I say!!! If someone text me for a date, (obviously this ain't gunna happen), I'd tell them to fuck right off.
