| | Do birds (the feathered ones) have noses? Can they sniff, snuffle, sneeze and blow? Do they need to have little hankies tucked beneath their wings? I only ask as someone at work mentioned that there was some bird snot on his jacket and the debate began.

Partially right, they do indeed fly upside down and blow, but they have to fly backwards at the point of blow otherwise it's snot in the eye.
