| | yeh i move into my halls on saturday morning looking forward to it sort of obviously a bit miffed about the leaving mates behind part, spent the last week buying crap that may or may not be useful...for some reason i decided a potato peeler would come in handy im taking my laptop but understandably ill have a lot to do so wont be able to visit often, it depends on what sort of internet access i get when im supposed to be working...mostly lectures and practicals though so dont see much computer stuff going |

| | Most halls have very competitive rates on internet access so maybe you'll be able to connect in your room? Have you met any of the people you'll be sharing with yet?

| I'm sure you'll find you do have time to pop on t'internet during the daytime, RDSP, before you go out and get ratarsed on cheap beer and throw up in someone's front garden. Even the most labour-intensive courses are only just over 20 hours a week usually, and in the first year in particular you shouldn't find yourself with too much to do. The final year can be very hectic, but the first two years aren't as bad as you expect.

| It's true, leave everything to the last year and work your bollox off then, only to realise that degrees are ten-a-penny nowadays and so you shouldn't have bothered in the first place. In fact, if you'd have not bothered with a degree and worked your way up the company ranks you'd probably be on far higher income in 3 years time than you ever would be were you to get a degree
