| | When will Weaver receive his call upto the to full England squad? Based upon current form also bearing in mind this is top flight premiership football, surely it can only be a matter of time before he gets a call up to the squad. Got to be as good an option as Kirkland and whoever is 3rd choice surely?

| Whoa, whoah, way ahead of yourself here. He is definitely behind Robinson, Kirkland, Carson yet. Maybe if form remains he will get a chnace but this would most likely be December, and thats if he really shines.
In my opinion.

In my opinion.Behind Carson! WTF has Carson ever done except fail miserbaly at all his clubs. Kirkland perhaps but he has hardly set the world alight so far this season or any season for that matter. I think that all these keepers are over rated and if Weaves keeps his fitness, 1 Isaakson is going to have a hell of time trying to get into the team and 2 it surely must be only a matter of time before he gets some recognition for his performances.

Carson...wonder boy at Leeds, hasn't had a look in at Liverpool so far, and is doing well at Charlton on his loan deal. In what way has he failed miserably? Think that one needs some explanation. Weaver isn't good enough for England, he is probably behind James as well. Weaver is a great shot stopper and i love the guy but he doesn't really command his area. In all honestly can you see Weaver bollocking John Terry, Gary Chuckle, Ashley 'me me me' Cole and twat face Rio? He doesn't bollock Richard's or Jordan. So whilst he is doing well for us, it will take a hell of a season for him to be even considered for England, or maybe a good 3 season's...you have to do a hell of a lot as a keeper to be ready. O yeah, he is also behind Robert Green when he is fit.

Your right, the part of the game he has to work on is organising the defence, especially at set pieces. He has let a few soft goals in as well, but also made some great saves. I would put him behind, James, Robinson, green, Carson. He would have to improve on what he has done already IMO

| | I'm really pleased that Nicky Weaver has taken his chance back in the first team well and has shown some good form in the process. But lets not not get too carried away, there's a long long way for him to go yet, a good injury free run in the team would be a start. England call up? No.

| It'll take a lot more than 7 or 8 games in the Prem to convince anyone that Weaver is World class. He's good and I'm glad he's at City, but in my view he's about 5th or 6th in line for England. Age is on his side and maybe one day in a couple of years if he manages to hold down the number 1 spot at City. It'll be interesting to see what happens when we have 2 fit Keepers. I hope SP continues to play Weaver until he makes a mistake & deserves to be dropped.
