This mornings papers are back on the 'witch hunt' about MCFC and players actions!

It's Joey Bartons turn now I see although they have to mention Thatcher in the same paragraph because thats connected isn't it??

A couple of eye witness reports state that JB gave a disabled supporter his shirt (no mention of that in the press because it's a positive) and then depending on what side of the fence you are on, took his shorts down about an INCH and either mooned at the City fans in humour or provoked the Everton fans (lets go with that because its far better to slag anything connected to the blues these days)

What an outrageous act by Barton scream the press. Throw the book at him! 'The FA will want to take action' state some reporters and this one is better, 'Barton is heading for a big ban'

Oh yes for pulling your shorts down so people can barely see an inch of your arse, you are heading for a big ban.

Should he of done it? obviously not BUT it's hardly crime of the century. In fact when you really think about it it's pathetic!

Still it gave the press another chance to have a go at Pearce and alleged disciplinary problems. Oh hang on, weren't the press saying the other day that there is a very poor team spirit at City at the minute??The spirit must be that bad that with 15 mins to go our captain pulls off a blinding block that he had no right to get too and THE WHOLE TEAM make an impressive sustained attack on the Everton goal leading to a dramatic equaliser.

Well as far as I am concerned, keep the insults flying because all it is doing is pulling the whole club together far better than anything any one person could ever do.

To be fair it was more than an inch he showed. And whilst i agree that it has been blown out of proportion it must have crossed his mind for a moment that it was going to give the press a chance to bring up the thatcher incident, and his previous problems.

It was the full arse, but still not crime of the century, I found it quite amusing myself. Maybe its a booking, as removing your shirt is when scoring, but nothing more.

It got me as well, Thatcher is dragged up at every opportunity, also Jason Tandy and Thailand, the press make out that he put the young everton fan in hospital.

He pi$$ed me right off in January, but Ill stick up for him on this one. Its not like he Kung foo kick the fans for what they were taunting him with.

I think that the Police would be better off trying to find out who Robbed Peter Crouch than fannying around with Barton Mooning !!
