Early Doors was class! It was so true to life. We've all been in pubs like that one and seen those characters.

Top show Early Doors. A classic example of the style of comedy where nothing really happens.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

Your namesake was my favourite! I can't remember the exact flow of conversation, but when Tommy got his new job and was asked if he liked it, he said he hated it, particularly the bastards he had to work with, as the camera pans to his luminous jacket and lollypop stick beside him.

Just as an aside, have Caroline Ahearn and Craig Cash settled their differences?

the "big boys beano" was a classic. The banter at the fry up before they set off was hilarious.

Cash's humour is exactly the same as mine -  although he's probably funnier !
