| | The strange thing about "punk" is that it lasted about a year at most and yet people still buy and listen to the Clash, Pistols etc today. It went from being mad, subversive lunacy into punk rocker wigs at Woolworths in such a short time and by 1988 everyone had moved on. Great fun whilst it lasted though and nothing was ever the same again thankfully.
