| Mr 'I'm Superguest' Badger (28/09/2006) Rock City in Nottingham is one of my favourites. I like the atmosphere you get in the Academy as well.Yeah Rock City can be cool.... I like Brixton Acadamy, the fact its round gives great accoustics and the floor is quite slanted so you can normally always see. Even when that lanky twat comes and stands in the way

| Seen a few punk bands at Satan's Hollow. That's a laugh as there isn't a stage so to speak. The bands just play in the middle of the club with the crowd surrounding them.
you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

| Love the Liquid Room in Edinburgh, 13th Note in Glasgow and my old local, the Retro Bar on Sackville Street. Hate the Night & Day (shite & gay) and the Academy (£3 for a can of Red Stripe, lovely!)

| the kara sea (28/09/2006) Hate the Night & Day (shite & gay) and the Academy (£3 for a can of Red Stripe, lovely!)Night & Day seriously lacks atmosphere and it's more of a rip of fthan The Academy. Academy 2&3 are OK because you get the beer at SU prices Roadhouse is a good venue if the band get the crowd going

| the kara sea (28/09/2006) and my old local, the Retro Bar on Sackville Street. It's certainly 'intimate'.

Hate the Night & Day (shite & gay) and the Academy (£3 for a can of Red Stripe, lovely!)The Night and Day gets far too hot and sweaty aswell as charging sometimes highly inflated door prices for relatively unknown bands. Saw Cooder's band play downstairs at The Dry Bar on Tuesday, that's a nice little venue.
Eat, drink and be Benny. |
