Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

This is a really exciting moment for me.  I've been looking for this album for a very long time since my folks accidentally threw away all my vinyl (don't, it hurts too much). About my 3rd ever post on the forum was asking if anyone knew where I might find it (they were from Hulme).  Anyway, I bought it on vinyl for about 40 quid a couple of months ago and it was scratched to buggery and wouldn't play, and then tonight, I'm messing around and I check ITunes (which I've done loads), and it's there. I nearly shat.

Such a fine album, and about a 13 year wait to hear it.  Come share in my warmth and joy, I'm so happy.

Blood On TheTracks

Brilliant. Had it for years but only listened to bits.
I was young, I didn't know! I... didn't know...

It's practically Christmas today!

Someone get a message through to Captain Snort
That they better start assembling the boys from the fort.
And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight,
'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight.
