My Dad supporters Hibs as he follewed them when at Uni in Edinburgh. Me, I've enough on my plate supporting City. Most people up here go for either man u, chelsea or arsenal. I thought that if people did have a spl team down south then it would mostly be rangers or celtic. There are close links between Man U and Celtic, City used to have a fairly close relationship with Rangers back in the 80's. I guess it comes down to the Catholic, Protestant club thing. I take it that it doesnt really matter now? Do any city fans care about religion? Can't speak for individuals but no as a general rule. The only comment I've heard that even mildly could be associated is last derby a bloke near me screamed "Dirty Fenian bastards!!" at the United fans.

| Off (28/03/2007) i didn't mean tension, sorry, i meant it like it wouldn't play a part in the decision making process.Certainly not from City's point of view.

| Dunfermline.
Good luck tonight against Italy. Hope you thrash em. Bloody Italians. Turncoats during the war and an unfounded elitist attitude toward all.
I dont want to generalise or hold on to past wrongs though.

ALthough going to parkhead can be just as bad for my mates who are jambos. |

ALthough going to parkhead can be just as bad for my mates who are jambos. The religion connection in England died years ago. I know plenty of Catholics who support City. I also know a few rags who couldn't give a toss about Sellick. I hate both clubs, as they are bad for Scottish football. That tosser at Hearts is ruining that club. Romanov isn't it? I stayed last year at a B&B owned by an ex-Hearts player. He no longer has much interest in the club after what has happened there. I was pleased to see Hibs winning the CIS though. Nice one! It was live over here on a channel I have access to. For some reson I like to see how Inverness are doing.
