Did I just blink and miss something? I'm sure they didn't play the English national anthem at the start of the game. I heard the Israeli anthem but not the english one.
Am I wrong or did I black out for a minute?

Yes, all right.. Christ Almighty! It's like walking down a corridor and answering the door in Nazi Germany!

Thank goodness I didn't get to see that. So McClown still plays Lumpit with Gerrard? So nothing has changed there then.
I don't think any England fan should be surprised by this result. Failure to qualify now looks more than certain.

Lets face it, we ain't going to qualify with that duckegg in charge.  McClaren is a useless tosser, get him out of there.

We will qualify but only just!!! How can we justify drawing at home to Macedonia who have never been to a major competition, losing to Croatia who didnt reach the knockout stages of the world cup and drawing to Israel who havent reached a major competition for many a year. Let the players who are class create and we will score and beat these teams because we are always going to be solid at the back.

Robinson

Richards, Terry, Ferdinand, P.Neville

Lennon, Gerrard, Hargreaves, Barry

Johnson, Rooney

Phil Neville is only ever going to be a make-shift player for England, if Richards wasnt fully fit then play Carragher right back rather than Frankenstein. Natural left-footer on the left to whip in crosses and Gerrard playing in his best position. Would it not work better?

When the balls in the goal
Its not Shearer or Cole or Corradi or Samaras or Vassell or Dickov

drop lampost, rooney and neville

all shite - at least neville had the excuse of not being very good in the first place

now we know why McClown got the job - he has decided to take the english game back 30 years - just lump it up front against two 6ft three centre halves and cut rooney out of the game completely

what a twat

To answer your question smj I don't remember hearing the English national anthem played either - wasn't paying much attention in the pub but I do recollect the Israeli anthem being played, maybe it's just me (and you) though.
