| | Now that the novelty factor of having a shiny new stadium has worn off, wouldn't you prefer to go back to Main Road. I have no problem stating now that Maine Road was shit. But Maine Road had individual stands, each with their own character. Coms is just one stadium with sides. Don't get me wrong it's a great stadium, better facilities but it aint home. I know it will take time and all that but. To be honest i get chills when the "we are City from Maine Road" chant gets a go at the games. I'm sure some of this sounds soppy and bullshitty, but i'd prefer Maine Road every day of the week to COMS. I get the same feeling every time i look at the two Maine Road pictures on my wall, it's shite...but i love it. That's the same feeling Arsenal will get in a few years.

| Went past it on the bus the other day. It still feels weird that there's nothing there anymore, just a big green fence. I am slowly coming to love COMS but it'll never be "home". I don't suppose it will really be home for quite a few years yet, until we all start dying off and the kids who never knew Maine Road are the only ones left

| Noddy aims to please, but more often than not misses.

City should have gone ahead with 'singing' areas, rather than spliting everyone up. How would this work? Would this be putting people who were in the more atmospehric areas at maine road together? Given that i was in the family stand at maine road that wouldn't have been me. Would hardly be fair considering i am now one of the "singers", one of the few that bothers to get to my feet for a round of blue moon.
