| | I don't know about some of you but I am getting a bit fed up of so many threads being hi jacked by people who just want to call other people gay or some derivative of ginger. I don't care who is gay or ginger but I don't want to read threads which deteriorate because people can think of no other insult but gay. I like this forum because there are quite a few extremely well educated and witty people who can sustain a conversation about many topics but in my opinion the forum is being spoilt by some people (some of whom should know better) being silly and childish. I therefore propose a sticky thread or whatever where those who feel so inclined can go and call people gay or whatever without the rest of the members having to read it. I have no doubt that the first reply to this thread will be "Gay", so don't bother.

I'm not a teacher so I'm not sure, but I know you are Bert which is why I'm asking you this, but can you have 'is being spoilt'? I would have thought it was either 'has been spoilt' or 'is being spoiled'. Does that make sense? I always thought 'spoilt' was past tense.

I dont particularly like the gay remarks as I have numerous gay mates. But I didnt say owt but I dont like it.
The ginger remarks, well, what are we 12? Was mildly amusing for about the first 37 posts.
As Bert says it would be nice if the recalcitrant posters of the MB would post more in line with what we expect as opposed to settling for obvious and silly homosexual and red haired remarks.
Just by the way, I hate to be the harvester of truth here but I dont think Paddy is even ginger.
Just my thoughts. Since you asked.
