| After watching the Real v Bayern game last night i cannot see how Mc Laren can ignore him, he has proved capello wrong and forced his way back into the team and he now is banging right on the door of england again. With a tricky tie away against Israel coming up i think he should be picked for his experience alone, if he isnt i can see england losing and not qualyfying next year.

| Agreed, and anyway the whole Beckham circus is a distraction imo. I still think his pre-tournament shindig was part of the reason we performed so badly in the World Cup.
Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

Aaron Lennon has more pace and cross just as well, so can gerrard - he's gone, it's over - time to move on Lennon has done nothing for england, gerrards experiment on the right lasted 1 game, if mc laren ignores him then he is a fool, then again we all knew that anyway

| Very one-dimensional. Offers nothing that other players don't already have. It's over, go and take your $500,000 a week and leave us alone.

Everything that comes with him means that people dismiss him as having little talent but in actual fact he is still probably one of the best players in his position in the world. You have to remember that though he is cashing in on the money by going to LA Real wanted him to stay while both the Milans bid for him. Mclaran won't pick him as it'll be seen as him admiting he has made a mistake. Lennon, Gerrard and SWP have hardly shone in Beckhams position. |

I didn't realise he'd purchased right midfield for himself?

| | Beckham was outstanding last night. I'd like to see him back in the squad, but not necessarily starting. Can't see it happening though - Mclown would look like even more of a tit than he does at the minute if he gave him a recall.
