We have been shit all season and Pearce needs to come out after the game and be honest with the fans and tell the players they are playing not just for there city careers but probably for football careers as well because the way they are playing at the moment I really don't think anyone would want to sign them. At the end of the season all the staff except Cassell and all the board need to step down and put the club into the care of someone who knows the club and not some American tycoon.

| | You've hit the nail on the head there Jeebus, mentality is as much of our problem as SP's inadequacies. Rewarding players (at least half of our squad) who don't really care and see City as easy paypacket in also ran premiership club just doesn't work. They should have been so up for this match if that trip to Dubai had been orchestrated effectively by Pearce and that they really gave a shit. I believe Pearce does not have the full range of management skills to work with such a wide spectrum of personalities. Yes, he can get Barton motivated, not today granted (too scared of missing next Sunday) but that's easy, he's lost when we he has to leave his comfort zone. His after-match comments sum this up for me. Anyway, we are in IT for real now and if the club does fook this up I'll be livid. If we get through the cup then perhaps we'll take some points from the 6 games with the teams who have mentality already banked their points from us. God I hope so... As for Charlton & Villa they'll be critical.
