City win. We have to. We really shouldn't be having to think this way Sco. Lets not forget that Wigan will also be thinking the same thing.

| | Wigan have got genuine steel about them, which worries me. Whenever we play a team like that we don't fare well (except a couple of results over christmas) but whenever we play a 'good' team we don't seem to fare well either. Jesus, I'm turning into a pessimist.

I've not seen Wigans run-in, but looking at ours there aren't many fixtures you'd say we can get points out of. This is one of them. If Wigan have an easier run-in, a draw might be enough for them. |

| Timpblue (28/02/2007) wigan, charlton, watford - we need to win them allI sure I heard that Charlton don't have any of the top 5 to play in their run in. If true you'd bank on them escaping the drop.

| oh fuck off you lot doom mongering, we haven't played in a few weeks and you're all over thinking this. We aren't going down, yes we have a few tough games and teams will look at us and think they can get something, but we will also look at them like we can get something. the wigan game will be tough, the spanked us 4 - 0 last time, they are having a very bad season and are a quality side, if they DO beat us, it's not the end of the world. but we are at home they are struggling and we should beat them. so stop all this shit. bloody hell you lot are like menstrual women.

| | We can win any game if we truly believe we can. Like at Preston, if we go a goal down, fight like hell to get one back. I was gobsmacked when Liverpool came back from 3.0 down in the Champions League final in 2005, but they did it by believing they could. Any team can concede a silly or lucky goal, but don't let heads drop because of it. As Brian Clough used to say to his Forest team - don't worry about them, let them worry about you. |
