just as i have councilled patience when things are going wrong then they are going to have to produce an extended run to convince me that they aren't going to be mid to bottom this year

Wasn't getting carried way one the back of one good win, they just brought me down.

Yes it was a good and much needed win but there's no point celebrating like we'd won the league. It was one game against very poor opposition. However, a number of players had great games so there are more positives to come from the match. That's not wallowing in self pity, it's just being realistic.

so come along and be happy with that.

for ferks sake. or is this just somewhere to sign in to pass an hour at work???

By the time I had gotten home on Sat happy and happy steaming, pissed.I logged on and the reaction to what I saw as a good win was miserable.

Hmmm.....failed to heed the Governments "Never post when pissed" warnings then?

Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced.

Quite Cloudy. But sober today and still think my view is sound.A good home win.Still no goals against and at last our most expensive buy is of the mark. All positives without going in to the promise shown by the youngsters. As for WHU being a crap side you can only play the team in front of you,the game changed dramaticaly when Ferdinand went of admittedly but they are a side with more than one player who didn't even get one shot on target. Some change over the same game last year. Our defence deserves some applause also surely.

You are right, Zamora is near the top of the leading scorers and Harewood is a handful but they never got a sniff. Their midfield of Benayoum, Reo-Coker, that Argie and Etherington looks pretty good on paper but we bossed them on Saturday.

all we have to do now is something that we haven't been able to do for ages - put two decent performances together and get soem kind of result away from home.

For me the key will be keeping Cahill and Johnson quiet - thats why I think Dabo could be brought back in

Cahill always scores against us, has Dabo got the concentration to keep tags on him? He's certainly far more mobile than Hamann. I'm glad we have 2 half decent holding players now. Thought it was a bit of overkill when they were both bought but not now.

Will the right back who got sent off be able to play? I don't know whether a ban for 2 yellows starts immediately or after 7 days. If not Miller could be in for a good day! Nasmith also went off with a nasty bang to his knee so may be unavailable.

if hibbert and naysmith are out then that is good news   -  I believe that Dabo would track Cahill better tham Didi  - he seems off the pace still   - Stuart - if your readingt this please please please don't play Reyna left wing again - it makes us look silly

You would like to think that Miller has done enough to warrant a start! I hope so.
