It'll be interesting to see if there is any kind of consistency in the case of future incidents like this. Otherwise this could just be a huge can of worms that has just been opened! I'm sick to fucking death of English fans having a bad name, even though we've done nowt wrong for fucking years now. Hooliganism and racism in footy is rife in Holland and Italy but it always us the get the bad press.

But you know how these things go, they 'make an example' of a team or player, and then often fail to show any kind of consistency. They've taken the brave decision, now let's hope they continue to be brave in future.

| I think UEFA and FIFA sometimes make these decisions to get all the headlines, knowing full well that they will reverse or water down the punishment on appeal.
