It's 9 goals a season. That's just as shite as we have on the books now. Hardly improving the team is it?I know you'll bite my head off, and I know that the Samaras deal was structured in a way that we haven't paid the £6m up front, but we really should have looked to spend the money on a proven 15+ goal a year striker. What we need is someone who can create 15+ chances a season. BU, we ARE making chances mate, we did against Watford, Newcastle and the scum. Trouble is whether it's lack of quality upfront, confidence or the formation, we're not converting them. The one thing I've noticed id that when we're playing with 3 strikers, (albeit Vass on the left), we never seem to get anyone into the box other than Corradi on occasion.
I watched the Utd and Watford games and although I agree we had chances, none were absolute sitters. The strikers weren't to blame for us not scoring in either game. The quality of opportunity we create is just not up to scratch. I'm not saying we don't have problems up front, I'm saying the midfield needs addressing first. We'll score more goals with more creativity in midfield. If our strikers still don't improve their ratios then lets look at that.

| i want to see richards at centre mid... he'd add so much pace and power.. it's like playing with ten men when we have reyna or hamann there. they add nothing to us. he's wasted at right back.

| Marouane Chamakh it is one very very good player of head almost all these head returns at the bottom of the net it had to mark 7 goal out of 10 of the head
