fatsquid's fatturkey (09/12/2006) Corradi looks ok to me, but that's it...just ok.
Out of order for diving today, right to get sent off. I would have bee a tad disapointed if we had got a point because of that
You'd have been a 'tad disapointed' if we'd got a point off the rags because of a dive? Give it a rest, I'd have been happy if the ref had have booted the ball in there net and blew his whistle for full time. Just to piss them off, like they've never 'cheated' a win, they've been doing it for years.
I would have been really pissed off had we had to resort to the kinda things that united used to do just to get a point from them. One of the things that sets us apart from Untied is the fact that we don't accept diving under any circumstances and we don't try to gloss over any incidents of it that do happen by saying he slipped or someone would have made contact hadn't he gone down

giokinkladze (09/12/2006) You are right there, he is ok! That seems to have become what city is, a team full of ok players with a few exceptions of course. Vassel should be up front as wee need the speed. I thaught that beasley was a left sided player, why dosent psycho play him there? And why he persists with that donkey cloudy-o reyna, I have no idea. Ireland played a blinde when he came on and haman did the same only for tem mins at the watford game. Why dosent he use these players? Why persist with rubbish? Before questioning why SP isn't playing certain players you really should do some research, or at least have a bloody clue what's going on. Beasley; has been injured so can't play. Hamann; has been injured so can't play. Ireland; has been injured so can't play. You still with it so far? Now they are all back, SP has the chance to change it around and I would like to see Ireland and Beasley start on Sunday, to give us attacking options, pace and width on the left. Reyna is a good player, I just think his style of play, i.e. defensive, isn't what we want to see, especially at home. So, to conclude, we can only play the players that aren't injured! Hmmmmmmmm let me see........im the one who needs to be in the know eh? Think its you buddy boy. I know those players have been out with injury but they are now available. Haman, Ireland and Beasley were all available for that game and should hev been there. Maybe its you who needs to get the facts right pall!!!!

So you'd play someone the minute they came back from a lengthy injury, in a derby game, is that right?

| Your darn tootin buddy! Didi would have done a much better job than reyna! We do have quite a few injury worries at the moment though, looks like it could be a bleak winter!

As BU says, you can't rush these players back.
I think now they are back and have a bit of a game under there belt, SP has options.
You were questioning why SP hasn't been playing those players, they were injured. It's simple. Hamann may still be injured so before you ask why he's not playing read the web site or just ask!
Ireland and Beasley both played a part in the Utd game and so shows SP does know where to play them and wants them involved.
I hope they are both fit and available for Sunday too.............. |
