So our new goalkeeper is back fit. Weaver kept his place last night despite Isaksson being available for selection. I know Weaver has divided opinion at time this season but do you think he deserves to keep his place between the sticks? His early save last night was a great piece of athleticism but Isaksson was bought as a proven 'keeper so will he eventually make his way into the team?

Thoughts and opinions?

Weaver keeps his place until he fecks it up - bar Wigan he's been superb - if it wasn't for him we could have been 2-0 down at half time

Have to admit Weaver did well last night. Don't think you can drop him at the minute, though I do wonder if he's an accident waiting to happen. Not all that enamoured with Isaakson after the comments he made about City when he signed (stepping stone to bigger things etc). Think Weaver is starting to win me over...

Weaver really hasn't put a foot wrong this season, his save from the looping header last night was top fucking draw.

Nicky Weaver, sponsored by Holland's Pies.

There is always a doubt at the back of mind that somewhere, a monumental fuck up is overdue from the lad.

Let's hope you are wrong!

I'm sure Weaver will be in top form for his first Derby in years, he's a top 'keeper and I want him to stay as No. 1 if he keeps performing.

Isaksson will be number one eventually, because that is what he bought for. It will be harsh on Weaver though

I have to agree with ChubbyCalimari on that. If doesn't seem fair, but Weaver isn't going to keep Isaakson on the bench. However, I can't see the Swede getting his first start in the derby. Maybe in  the FA Cup.
