| | Didn't see the match last night (doh) but were we playing Vass on the left of midfield or were we 4-3-3? Whatever, it seems to have worked well.

| It looked like a 4-4-2 to me with vass playing more in a winger position...trabelsi looked excellent as did reyna again..samaras deserved a goal for his efforts

| | I couldn't get to the game but managed to listen 30 mins and then watched it later on SKY. I actually thought we played an almost fliud formation. We had so much time on the ball all over the pitch. A lot of the time Reyna was deeper than Richards and Barton was level with Corradi, whilst Samaras was all over the place. Dunne stayed back but Thatcher and (Wonder striker) Distin came forward whenever they could. Vass drifted in from the left and oftenended up on a level 3 or 4 with the 2 strikers and Barton. We just played exellent flowing football with precise passign to players in space. Villa looked very poor and not at all like a team who haven't lost at home this season. It could have quite easily been a 4 or a 5 goal game for City. Samaras played well and really deserved a goal (all the team played well). Best passing game I have seen for ages - the ball hardly spent any time in the air and City just looked confident and full of ability.

| Well that is nice to hear. I thought Trabelsi looked quality even on the small clips it showed on Match of the Day and Samaras linked up the play nicely, as for Distin what a fookin goal that was!!!

| I also only saw motd, we looked really sharp. the passing and movement looked as good as it's been in a long time and the commentator was absolutly creaming himself. the midfield looked boss, and some of sam and bernie's movement off the ball for each other was pretty good. bernie also seems to have picked a bit of pace up, or were the villa defence just really slow? Distin looked pretty chuffed with his goal as well, and the first player to him was barton, could read alsorts into that. Really want him to stay.

| | They played 4-4-2, Vass was great again in left mid, and tackling back like against Liverpool. There was some fantastic one touch football and the best I have seen them play all season. I dont think anyone had an off day, it was great to watch !!
