I think anything above 15 million they would take, purely because they have other options, city are still not a buying club, we are in a better financial position but, we are not in a position to buy well without selling....at the end of the day its business as well as sport...if we didnt have more options (onouha, trabelsi, jihai) i would hope they wouldnt sell....but its a funny old game innit...

ps just been on villa talk website they reckon theyre gonna stuff us 5-1 tonight, ive put em right.....grrrrr

£10m Cash + SWP for Richards is a good deal in my view and if this was the offer on the table would take it.

I gave Elano my Porsche and now I want it back!

Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce has been told the club cannot afford to re-sign Shaun Wright-Phillips from Chelsea - despite the fee likely to be less than a third of the £21m they sold him for. (The Sun)

Oh well. Next.

I don't think he was going to re-sign for 35 grand a week either do you?

I think Pearce thought Chavski might do a lona deal to put him in the shop window for the rest of the season.

I think a loan was the only realistic option really.

And still could be if no-one meets the valuation/wage demands.

True, but to be honest I don't really think we desperately need him.

He'd put some much needed bums on seats at the CoMS though.

maybe its a good thing, we seem to manage well yesterday with trabelsi, the side look better balanced with trabelsi rather than a winger....and he got some good tackles in.... if its a third that makes it 7 mill, its cheap but if we cant afford it, we cant afford it, lets move on now....

so if we can't afford 7 mill that means either :

pearce has that much in jan and doesn't want to spend it all on SWP

as usual the board are full of shit and Pearce will have about £2.50 to spend
