I think that everybody has their own music icons. so it's always going to be difficult to agree. If I was asked for a list of people who had changed or influenced music and gained iconic status, they would be.. Elvis Bob Dylan The Beatles The New York Dolls, (not the pistols) Jackmaster Flash Morrissey And personally I'd chuck Ian Curtis into the frame, plus one of the early house/techno DJ's, which one is down to taste. What about if you were asked who influenced you in your choice of music?

| I have never understood the hysteria that surrounds Kiss. The 'Kiss Army' are nazist supporters of anything that Kiss have ever done. Gene Simmons farts and its a brilliant record. No idea what they are all on about.
Also some critics say that The Beatles were The Beach Boys rip-offs. Personally never found too many similarities in their songs.
