| Man City boss Stuart Pearce says contract rebel Sylvain Distin will not be sold in January. (Daily Star) So we're giving him away in the summer then?

We can't force him to sign for another club. Don't blame him really. AS a free agent he can get the cost of a transfer fee built into his wages. I know it pisses us off as fans but it's the way it is now.

| Its the question of the hour, who will we replace him with?
I cannot think of anyone who we coud afford and should be in for.

I cannot think of anyone who we coud afford and should be in for.Everyone says that Micah will eventually be a CB, so what about moving him into the middle with Nedum on the right? Only problem I see from that is lack of cover.

| Couldn't we offer him a largeish resigning on fee? Be cheaper than buying a suitable replacement.

| | The replacement will probably come from within, either Onuoha or Richards. But as ESM says that will leave us short on numbers especially if the other players who are out of contract leave as well. The best like for like replacement is probably Upson but we couldn't afford him. |
