| | The world is ending, the sky is falling in, it's all doom and gloom, city will collapse, we'll have no manager, we're hearts, we're destroyed, everyone is leaving the club, we'll have no players, what can we do? I'm fed up with all this. It'll all turn out ok, we've been through far worse (and remember, nothing has actually happened yet). Just calm down. Can we at least put a hold on all the doom and gloom until either a) things actually happen and turn out for the worse, or b) somebody gets me a god damn aspirin for my head.

I hear what yer saying Benjamin, but even if Sven isn't sacked this summer it's hard to see how all this negative speculation, which surely must have some foundation, won't effect team performance next season. The key is to maintain a happy-got-lucky approach. Personally I'm just pleased we had 4 to 5 months of the most exciting period supporting City in my living memory. Back to normality from here on in though. We should accept our lot and get on with it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not overjoyed with all the negative speculation, but there's plenty of time till next season. I'm right with you on the happy-go-lucky thing. And the bold thing is exactly what I feel. We're still City after all...

| Yup. Spot on Benny. You know my thoughts on this, but for those not 'special'* enough to receive a PM from me, I am getting heartily sick of the whinging on this forum. Most of those complainers have only supported City for a year so don't know shit, but some of you should know better. Come on guys, it's City being City and we've had a lot worse than this. City till I Die and all that.
*Gay.

| It might not be the end of the world, but it might be the end of my love affair with City. Leaving aside the fact that the club is being destabilised again, I'm disgusted by the way in which Shinawatra has conducted himself. Eriksson deserves to be treated in a way which befits his standing as a respected manager and a decent man. The lack of morals on Shinawatra's side has left a really nasty taste and whatever happens, whoever he brings in, wherever City finish next year, won't change that. I'd prefer Shinwatra to take his money and piss off.

*Gay.I remember how it felt to get relegated into Div 2, that was pretty bad but led to some great days out culminating in an unbelievable day at Wembley. This situation isn't good or right but we will get over it. As I have said previously, a new high profile manager a couple of top signings and a good start to the season and you will get loads of people on here saying " Yeah Sven was good but his tactics of playing one upfront were crap, we are much better off." Football fans are soo fickle. |
