| | I implore all city fans past and present to vote with their feet and boycott the opening home game of the next season if the press are correct in the fact that Sven is getting the bullet. Shititwatra is making a monumental faux pas in getting rid of Sven, he needs to be fully aware that as a former politician that votes (bums on seats) are only won by a manifesto that appeals to the masses and is beneficial for the masses. a) Raising the season ticket and admission prices for 2008-2009 .....bad mistake, we cant fill the stadium now as it is b) Getting rid of sven = no pulling power for world class signings....who the fuck would want to come to city to play for allardyce for example? also = no bums on seats c) I can see it now...... Dunne to Newcastle, Johnson to Liverpool and city = the club to avoid as a player just like pre- Joe Royle days...... I live in Huddersfield and the new chairman has set all season ticket prices at £100 for next season as a thankyou to fans...... If i hadnt bought my city ticket already, i may have taken them up on the offer.....

| | In all seriousness, do you reckon we should set up a proper petition and send it to Frank? |

| | I've emailed City asking for the process to get a refund on next seasons ST's if Sven gets the boot. They said they'd pass on my comments and I had to write to the ticket office, looked like a automated reply so I guess I'm not the only one asking the question. I did it really to make a point, but the more I think about it the more I feel I should carry through my threat. Funny how all this shit has hit the fan AFTER the last home game and Frank on his way back to Thailand.

My thoughts exactly, he must have known there would be a backlash from this. It doesn't take a football man to know that Sven has done well for us this year |

| The thing is, next season first game is way too late. It has to be now, today or this weekend, otherwise the hose will have bolted!! Its no great surprise at all ESM, he clearly knows this mess will not be popular and try to cover it up like last season by a great new manager and new players (Ronaldihno for Example). The problem is like someone said on another thread, they are looking at Big names, who may be old, not building a team. They are just interested in filling the stadium and driving more profit. I really worry, I had big doubts last summer about all this and it looks well funded now. I think a sit down protest at the COMS on Saturday or something would be the best thing to happen, unfortunately I cant make it.

| | Thing is, even if Frank changed his mind, (which isn't going to happen let's face it), because of fan pressure, would Sven stay? Would he fuck as like, nether would any of us. Sad to say but trying to save Sven's job or make him stay is futile, the only thing we can do is make Frank and his advisers well aware that we a angry and dismayed at this ridiculous situation.
